Things I Can't Wait For

Baby Stella,

The last two days have been absolutely beautiful. It's like Spring has come in January. Spring is my favorite season and I am so glad you will be born right in the middle of it. I've been walking outside in our 60 and 70 degree weather and it has made me start thinking (your Dad usually worries when I say this). However, this time I am not thinking about things that he should worry about, just a few things that I can't wait for.

I can't wait for you to be here to walk with me in the beautiful weather. I have picked out an extra sporty stroller so we can jog when you are a little bigger.

I can't wait to take you to the zoo. I will FINALLY have an excuse to go to the zoo 10 times a year and I have a feeling your Daddy will let us.

I can't wait to take off to see Nana and your big cousins Track and Hattie. Track will more than likely want nothing to do with you (he's all boy) but you will probably look up to Hattie and be her best friend.

I can't wait to take you to Hawaii in the Fall, although I'm a little nervous about the really long plane ride.

I can't wait for your Daddy to be so wrapped around your finger that he will probably take a day off during the week because he won't want to leave you. He doesn't even do this for me so you should feel blessed.

I can't wait to be able to RUN again. I didn't realize how much I liked it until I quit doing it but I know that keeping you safe is the most important thing.

I can't wait to have a legitimate reason to watch Pixar and Disney movies.

I can't wait for play dates with my sweet friend Emily and her baby Eleni. You are going to love her!

I can't wait for the special time that you will spend with your grandparents. Seriously, you are super blessed in this department.

Most of all, I can't wait to meet you and to know your cute little personality.

I just can't wait.
