This week you are 1 pound and if you were a fruit you would be my little Papaya. We spent New Years Eve at a nice dinner with your Grammy, Papa Don, and friend Julie. Once we got home your Dad and I played our favorite game "How quickly can you put your sweatpants on?". Then, I caught a few minutes of the Thunder game and passed out around 8. Yes, your mother is lame these days. I lived vicariously through friends and families texts the next morning and thought to myself "When did I get old?" Oh well, enough of my pity party.
We took a visit this week to Missouri to visit your Great Uncle Bill & Great Aunt Gail. It was my first time to Columbia and I loved it. The ride up wasn't as enjoyable as the trip itself. You see, your father is the type that likes to see how far he can get on a trip without stopping. I swear that man would have made me pee in a cup if I wasn't pregnant. However, since his precious angel is inside my belly he let us stop 53 times. Not really. But it sure felt like it. The most annoying part was taking a bathroom break, getting back on the road for 15 minutes and having to go again. I thought he was going to kill me.
We finally made it to our destination after all the stops and 1 creepy detour that I had to beg your father not to stop for gas on. I told him I would rather stop somewhere for gas that if I get murdered they could at least hear me screaming for help. The trip itself was short lived from the snow Columbia was getting but we enjoyed a couple of days of relaxing by the fire, lots of food, family, and board games. I love those kind of trips. The kind without a plan. Below are a few of our pictures
from the trip.

The view on our walk, it was beautiful!
This is the year that we will get to hold our sweet Stelly Belly in our arms (your Dad's nickname choice, not mine). We can't wait!
Love,
Momma
