Week 34 Day 3-
Week 34 means more frequent visits to the bathroom. While I'm there I notice the pile of laundry that your Daddy left me, the dirty baseboards, and sink that needs wiped for the millionth time. I think they call this nesting but it feels a little more like OCD. I just can't help it. By the end of the day, my feet are swollen, my hands are puffy, and if I have to drink one more drink of water I will drown.
Week 34 also means the box of industrial size brownies that Papa Kenny bought are already gone, I spend enough money at Taco bell to put a dent in the national debt, and sometimes when I sneeze I pee. This may be TMI to some but Week 34 also means I no longer know what shame means.
Week 34 isn't all bad you see. It means that I have 40 days until I hold you in my arms and until your Daddy will finally stop asking "Can she just come out and play now?" I just hope he doesn't get a month into it and say "Can we put her back now?" I kid, I kid.
Next week we are on to every week appointments and I can't believe it is SO close. It's scary when you begin to realize that your pregnancy is leading to the birth of an infant. Until now, I've just been pregnant. Now people are starting to talk about this labor business...I'm not thrilled about that part but whatever gets our sweet girl here I'm willing to do.
5 more weeks! My how time flies! CAN. NOT. WAIT.

Shower for Stella
Baby Stella,
Your baby shower was nothing short of amazing and I mean it. Your Nana and Amanda worked so hard to make sure it was everything that I dreamed of and so much more. Your Grammy held the shower at her house and it was the perfect, comfy location and I wouldn't have wanted it anywhere else! From the vintage doilies to the antique paper banner (handmade by your Mannie), this shower was perfection. I even had all my favorite pregnancy food groups. They served no bake cookies from Mclarens Pantry, chicken salad sandwiches, French onion dip, and cake with buttercream icing (duh). I ate like a cow and then I ate again. I even arrived early to make sure I would have time to eat. I didn't want this to be a repeat of my wedding. :) I was so happy your Nana and Mannie granted my wish of no baby games. I have always found them a bit uncomfortable and I would rather spend the time visiting with everyone. Your Daddy and I felt so blessed with the car loads of stuff that we had to deliver back to the house. Your closet in completely set until you are 6 months old. Our friends and family truly are amazing.

Your Daddy and I had fun reading some of these after the shower. I'm sure they will be 10 times as funny when we are delirious from the middle of the night changings.
Funniest Diaper phrase went to Aunt Kaycie! "I shizzled in my dizzle"
Daddy stopped by for a few pictures
Blessed!

Loved your vintage banner made by Mannie. I can't wait to get this hung in your nursery!
I had a wonderful time and I can't wait to get everything organized for you. Let the nesting begin...again!

Maternity Pictures
Baby Stella,
This week Daddy and I had some pictures made for your baby book and nursery. We hope that you will look back one day and enjoy seeing how you started, in my belly. Man, have you grown. I feel like you must be running out of room in there and your Dad asks almost daily if you can come out and play. We will let you continue to bake (not cook) because at this point I am certain you have turned into a brownie.
Love,
Momma
